Dalvin Cook unanimous selection to All-ACC first team

Florida State's sophomore running back from Miami chosen as first-team selection on all 50 ballots

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. ā€“ Florida State running back Dalvin Cook is one of two Atlantic Coast Conference players who was a unanimous first-team selection to the 2015 All-ACC football team Monday.

The sophomore from Miami joined Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson as a first-team selection on all 50 ballots cast by Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association members.

Cook, who broke Florida State's single-season rushing record previously held by Warrick Dunn, leads the ACC and ranks fifth nationally with 1,658 rushing yards. He also leads the conference in scoring with 19 touchdowns.

Watson, who led the Tigers to an undefeated regular season and first No. 1 ranking since winning the 1981 national championship, leads the ACC in total offense. He has thrown for 27 touchdowns and scored nine more on the ground.

Other Seminoles to make the All-ACC first team are junior kicker Roberto Aguayo, sophomore offensive tackle Roderick Johnson and junior cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Miami had no first-team selections, but junior cornerback Artie Burns was named to the second team, while junior wide receiver Stacy Coley and sophomore quarterback Brad Kaaya were named to the third team.

Clemson led the ACC with 17 selections, including six on the first team. Florida State was third behind North Carolina with 12 total selections and second to Clemson with four first-team selections.
