Dolphins collecting canned goods for charity

Fins reaching out before Sunday's game

DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins are lending a helping hand during Sunday's game against Carolina.

Fans attending the game are being asked to bring canned food and non-perishable items including canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.), beef stew, canned vegetables, canned fruits, beans, rice, peanut butter, and macaroni and cheese.

The food will go to Feeding South Florida.

The drop-off is located at Gate E at Sun Life Stadium.

The Dolphins teamed up with AARP Foundation's Drive to End Hunger. AARP and volunteers of the Miami Dolphins Special Teams will pack 50,000 meals to benefit Feeds South Florida.
