DAVIE, Fla. - The Miami Dolphins are delaying their meeting with offensive lineman Jonathan Martin.
Owner Stephen Ross said on Monday that he intended to fly to California to get Martin's side of the bullying scandal.
However, on Tuesday, the Dolphins announced that they were going to wait until the NFL investigation is complete before speaking with Martin.
CEO Tom Garfinkel released the following statement: "Ted Wells and the National Football League have asked that we delay our meeting with Jonathan Martin until they have the opportunity to meet with him first. Out of deference to the process, we will cooperate with their request. We look forward to meeting with Jonathan directly as soon as possible."
