Dolphins lift Incognito's suspension

Lineman will become free agent

DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins have lifted the suspension of lineman Richie Incognito.

This is an administrative move.

Incognito is expected to become a free agent.

Last week, owner Stephen Ross made it clear that Incognito would not be returning to the team.

Incognito tweeted, "I would like to thank my family and friends for their continued love and support.  It's official #Free #Bird #FreeIncognito."

He also showed support for fellow lineman Jonathan Martin.

Incognito wrote, "I support Jonathan Martin 100% in his return to football in 2014."

Independent investigator Ted Wells is expected to release his report on the Dolphins bullying scandal on Thursday.
