DAVIE, Fla. - The Miami Dolphins signed safety Anderson Russell from the practice squad.

The 6-0, 208 pound safety signed with Miami in Sept. 2011.

Russell played two games with the Washington Redskins in 2010 after joining Washington as an undrafted free agent.

He attended Ohio State.

In college, Russell had 38 starts and 6 interceptions.
