DAVIE, Fla. – Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry's wallet learned that it's best to keep quiet around NFL referees.

Landry was fined $23,152 by the NFL Friday for unsportsmanlike conduct after he mouthed off to a game official during the Dolphins 27-14 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport first reported the fine.

The incident in question occurred in the fourth quarter of the game after Landry argued that Jets defensive back Darrelle Revis has made contact with him during a pass into the end zone.

Revis intercepted the pass and the referees ruled that it was incidental contact.
