WEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. -

The excitement continued to build ahead of a friendly between Brazil and Honduras at Sun Life Stadium on Saturday night.

Soccer fans gathered outside a news conference Brazil held at Florida International University on Thursday afternoon.

"Everybody is excited. I live in Coconut Creek and everybody there is going to have a caravan," said Ralde Loguira, who was still shaking after taking a picture with Neymar.

"I believe it's going to be sold out," said Eric Cunha. "A lot of my friends are going and I can see tickets are going really quick."

The Brazilian soccer stars arrived in South Florida earlier this week, and attended the Miami Heat's win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Also at that game: former England captain David Beckham, who toured Marlins Park on Wednesday, one of the possible venues for hosting his Major League Soccer franchise while a soccer-specific stadium is built.

"Having them in Miami at the same time as Beckham is here, it makes the city the epicenter of soccer for the weekend," said Pedro Heizer with 90minutesstrong.com.

Beckham also stopped by the team hotel to see Neymar earlier in the week.

"He (Neymar) met him in 2006 when he was a young kid as a fan in Real Madrid," said Neymar. "He took pictures with him and now seeing him all those years later here in Miami, coming to his hotel room to take pictures with [him] was like a moment for him. It was exciting."
