Fans scoop up last of NBA Finals tickets

Miami Heat fans get tickets for Games 1, 2 against San Antonio Spurs

MIAMIMiami Heat fans are buying the last remaining tickets to Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals.

Fans headed to the AmericanAirlines Arena on Wednesday morning when tickets went on sale at the box office. They said only 400-level tickets were available for Game 1 and standing-room only for Game 2.

Doug Miranda said he may buy lower-level tickets for between $1,300 and $1,000.

"We're going to think about it," he said. "We're going to huddle over here in the next five minutes. Executive decision."

But some went home empty handed.

"I'm going to party at home," said Gina Barr.

If you want to buy from a broker, it will cost you.

"The courtsides range anywhere from $12,500 all the way up to $25,000 for dead center court," said ticket broker Michael Lippmann. "We have a lot of professional, European soccer players that are buddies with Tony Parker coming over and a lot of athletes from Argentina."
