Golden held his weekly news conference Tuesday.

"It's all forward-thinking," Golden said. "Our guys did a good job.  Everyone in the building did a good job of coming in, evaluating ourselves and learning from it.  I thought the leadership of the team did a great job of moving on."

The 'Canes will host Virginia Tech on Saturday.

Hurricanes wide receiver Stacey Coley, who injured his hip catching the go-ahead touchdown against Florida State,  practiced Tuesday.

Coley expects to play Saturday.
