NEW YORK - Not sure if the Heat players will feel like they've received a lump of coal in their holiday stockings after getting a preview of the jerseys they'll wear on Christmas Day.
The leagued debuted short-sleeved jerseys Thursday for the 10 teams that will play on the holiday, replacing the traditional sleeveless NBA uniforms.
The Heat will wear the jerseys for their Dec. 25 game vs. the Los Angeles Lakers.
A large Heat logo is centered in front of the jerseys with the player's number featured on the left sleeve and on the back.
Adidas, which outfits NBA teams, debuted sleeved jerseys for a few teams last season.
Playing on Christmas are Miami, New York, Brooklyn, Chicago, Houston, Oklahoma City, Golden State and both the Lakers and Clippers.
