Heat expect Brooklyn counter-punch

MIAMI – Game 1 was relatively easy for the Miami Heat.  The Heat expect a counter-punch from Brooklyn.

Coach Erik Spoelstra said that Brooklyn has "a lot of proud veteran players."

He emphasized that it's a "long series and the final score means nothing in the context of 4 game series."

The coach wants his team to play with "urgency" in Game 2.

On the injury front, Coach Spoelstra said that Chris Andersen went through Thursday morning's shootaround, but the team will wait to see how he feels tonight.

Andersen left game 1 with a right knee contusion.

Kevin Garnett was held scoreless in Game 1.

But Coach Spoelstra said a "series can change just like that."

Game 2 tips off from the American Airlines Arena at 7 p.m.
