Heat healthy heading into Nets series

All players participated in shootaround

MIAMI – The Miami Heat are healthy as head into their series against the Brooklyn Nets.

The team announced Tuesday that all 15 players participated in shootaround and are ready to go for Game 1.

LeBron James has been nursing a thigh bruise.

James was banged up in Game 4 against the Bobcats.

Miami has had plenty of time to rest.

The Heat's last game was more than a week ago.

The Heat struggled against Brooklyn during the regular season, Miami going 0-4.

The Nets fly to South Florida after beating Toronto on Sunday in Game 7 of their opening round series.

Brooklyn had one day of practice before starting Round 2 of the Playoffs.

Tip time at the American Airlines Arena is at 7 p.m.

One other big NBA note on Tuesday, the league made it official, naming Kevin Durant as the regular season MVP for the 2013-2014 season.

LeBron James finished second.
