Interim head coach Larry Scott said Kaaya's status for Saturday's game against Virginia is unknown.

Kaaya must first pass concussion protocol.

Kaaya's backup Malik Rosier is also questionable for Saturday.

If neither can go, Scott said that Vincent Testaverde would play quarterback for the 'Canes.

Following their dramatic win at Duke, Miami is fighting for the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division.
