MIAMI -

LeBron James is fired up for his matchup with Kevin Durant.

The Heat host Oklahoma City on Wednesday night.

LeBron was asked if stopping Durant was secondary to a win.

LeBron responded, "It's a challenge.  It's not secondary, it's first-ary to see if I can stop him.  He's one of the toughest covers between him and Melo.  It's the game between the game.  You want to win and you want to do your part against who you're going against."

LeBron has immense respect for the Oklahoma City star.

LeBron said Tuesday, "I wish I could play against him every night because he brings out that competitive nature in you."

Dwyane Wade was asked about coming off the bench again as a possibility.

Wade returned to action Sunday after missing four games.

Wade said, "I haven't come off the bench since the '08 Olympics and I haven't come off the bench in Miami since my rookie year coming off injury... I asked coach to do that, but I didn't ask him to take me out of the starting lineup for the whole year.  We can quit that conversation right now."

The Heat continue to work Wade back from offseason knee surgery.
