PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – It's only fitting that championship week decide the outcome of this close race in the college football weekly picks on Local10.com.
Local10.com managing editor Peter Burke remains in the lead with a 117-44 overall record. He has two more wins than sports reporter Clay Ferraro, who is 115-46 for the season.

Executive sports producer David Lang trails Ferraro by two with a 113-48 overall record. Sports producer Tory McMahon is last with an overall record of 108-53.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of rivalry week was Stanford upsetting UCLA at home. All four panelists picked the Bruins to win and represent the South Division in the Pacific 12 Conference Championship.
Instead, Arizona will face Oregon for the conference crown, thanks to the Wildcats' 42-35 victory against rival Arizona State. Arizona was the only team to beat the Ducks this year, but it's hard to win twice in the same season.
The Seminoles are the only undefeated team remaining, but Florida State still has to get past the Yellow Jackets in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship to earn a spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff. Lang and McMahon are both picking FSU to feel the sting of Georgia Tech.
Can Missouri beat Alabama to win the Southeastern Conference championship? The Tigers return to Atlanta for the second year in a row as champions of the lesser SEC Eastern Division.
Ohio State will also try to win a Big Ten Conference crown with a third-string quarterback after injuries to Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett. The Buckeyes must beat Wisconsin in the newly aligned conference title game.
Who will emerge as champions of the Mid-American Conference, Conference USA and Mountain West Conference? Those questions will be answered this weekend.
