PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Local10.com managing editor Peter Burke continues to hold the lead after three weeks of college football, but the gap is closing.
Burke, sports reporter Clay Ferraro and executive sports producer David Lang were 8-2 in their picks last week, while sports producer Tory McMahon was 7-3.

However, Burke still holds the overall lead at 28-3.
Ferraro, McMahon and Lang are all one game apart in the overall standings at 24-7, 23-8 and 22-9, respectively.
All four members of the panel were surprised by South Carolina's 38-35 victory against Georgia.
Lang was helped by Arkansas, which won at Texas Tech, 49-28. He was the only one to pick the Razorbacks.
McMahon was the only person to underestimated FAU, which won its home opener against Tulsa after being dominated in road games at Nebraska and Alabama in the first two weeks.
Florida State is a unanimous pick to defeat Clemson this weekend, even after it was announced Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston was suspended for the first half because of a derogatory statement he made on campus Tuesday.
