Marlins set to announce All-Star game

Team will hold news conference Friday

MIAMI – The Miami Marlins have scheduled a "major announcement" for Friday afternoon which, presumably, will confirm the 2017 All-Star game will come to South Florida.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred will join Marlins Owner Jeffrey Loria and local mayors for the event, which will be held at Marlins Park at 2:00 p.m.
