Miami Dolphins cheerleaders to hold auditions

Auditions to be held at Nova Southeastern University on April 25

DAVIE, Fla. – From the sidelines and throughout the South Florida community, the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders are the ambassadors for the organization.

With nonstop appearances even in the post season, they're now preparing for the 2015 auditions.

Brooke Sorenson Nix is the choreographer for the squad, and with five years of experience as an NFL cheerleader herself, she knows exactly what it takes to make the squad.

"We're looking for women who can represent the organization with class and bring a high level of energy to each performance. They need to rock it out," Nix said.

For several months there have been cheerleader prep classes to help hopefuls prepare for audition day.

Talent is a given, but in addition to beauty and brains, time management skills are imperative in the life of a cheerleader, as most of the women on the team have careers or attend college full time.

All candidates must be at least 18 years old by April 25 and live in South Florida.

Auditions will be held April 25 at the Doctor's Hospital training facility at Nova Southeastern University.
