PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Fists that used to devastate now bring smiles for Mike Tyson, the superstar boxer hanging at Local 10.
When Tyson could cut down strong men in seconds, he despised promoters like Don King. Today, Tyson is one through his company, Iron Mike Productions, which has an event July 10 at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
In a boxing life filled with moments that made him famous and infamous, Tyson says he is glad his own career is but a distant memory, and says "father" is the title he now prefers above all.
Tyson is going to be in Miami all week long, attending games three and four of the NBA Finals. He will also throw the first pitch Saturday at Marlins Park.
