MIAMI ā Marlins infielder Derek Dietrich returned to the ballpark on Monday after a scary situation in Atlanta.
Dietrich was hit in the head by a foul ball during the 9th inning of Sunday's game.

He was down for several minutes.
Manager Don Mattingly said Dietrich never lost consciousness and there wasn't any blood.
X-rays were negative and Dietrich stayed the night in Atlanta.
When he re-joined the team, Dietrich's teammates gave him a hard hat.
Dietrich had a laugh, but is not in the starting lineup.
The Marlins are opening up a 7-game homestand against Pittsburgh.
The Mets come to town this weekend for a 3-game series.
