The viewing for Emilio Macias is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Home, at 373 W. Ninth St. in Hialeah.

Both viewings are open to the public.

The funerals for the friends will be held on Wednesday.

Rivero and Macias died early Sunday after a boat they were riding on with Fernandez crashed into a jetty off Miami Beach.

Authorities said the boat, which was owned by Fernandez, crashed into the jetty at full speed and overturned.

Relatives of the victims said Rivero and Macias were like brothers and both graduated from G. Holmes Braddock High School.

Friends said Rivero went on the boat to comfort Fernandez because he was stressed and wanted to "blow off steam."

A public viewing will be held for Fernandez on Wednesday at St. Brendan Catholic Church, at 8725 S.W. 32 St. in Miami.

A funeral for Fernandez will be held Thursday but is not open to the public.
