Bosh feels 'written off' by Heat after medical issues

Heat All-Star details comeback from blood clots in online video

MIAMI – Miami Heat All-Star Chris Bosh says he felt "written off" by the team following his second medical condition that sidelined him for the second half of the 2015-16 season.

In the first episode of a new web series directed by Bosh for Uninterrupted.com, the 13-year NBA veteran recalls conversations with team doctors after blood clots were found in his leg during the All-Star break in February.

"The team doctors they told me that my season's over, my career is probably over and this just happens, this is just how it is," Bosh claims in the episode titled "Lost."

Bosh says he immediately believed the team was ready to move on without him.

"I felt right away that I was written off," Bosh says disappointingly. "It was just put it to the side and matter-of-factly."

Near the end of the episode, Bosh implies that he doesn't agree with the Heat doctors.

"If a doctor tells me, 'Hey, that's it and this it how it is' and I don't buy that, I think that I have the right to disagree with you," Bosh says.

Bosh has missed the second half of the last two seasons due to clotting issues.

In the video, Bosh believes he is healthy and ready to play again.

"I know inside me I have a lot of talent and a lot of ability," Bosh concludes. "I have it, I know I have it."

"It wasn't a matter of if I'm going to play again, it's when," Bosh says.

A Heat spokesman said the team had no comment in regards to Bosh's allegations.

The series of digital shorts will be released every 2-3 days on Uninterrupted.com.
