MIAMI ā It appears more likely than ever that Hassan Whiteside has played his last game as a member of the Miami Heat.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! And The Vertical is reporting that the Mavericks have emerged as the frontrunner for Whiteside and that the Heat have lost ground.

Pat Riley has called Whiteside the team's top priority this offseason, but it's unclear if he's willing to offer the Center a max deal that Mavericks owner Mark Cuban appears willing to give the big man.
