According to multiple sources, the Miami Heat are set to sign veteran forward Rashard Lewis.
Lewis had several other teams that could offer more than the veteran's minimum of $1.35 million, but instead chose Miami.
Lewis is a 6-foot-10 shooting specialist and former All-Star. He averaged just 7.8 points in 28 games for the Washington Wizards last season, when he was plagued by a right knee injury.
Lewis would become the second key free agent to join the Heat, following Ray Allen who's expected to sign tomorrow.
