MIAMI – The Heat will be without guard Dion Waiters for at least two weeks.

The Heat announced that an MRI revealed that Waiters has a Petcineus tear and will be re-evaluted in two weeks.

Waiters sat out his first game of the season on Nov. 28.

Waiters is averaging 14.2 points and 4 assists per game. 

The Heat open a 3-game homestand Wednesday night in Denver.
