Walker, Lin help Hornets even series with Heat

The Hornets backcourt stung the Heat on Monday night

CHARLOTTE, NC – The Charlotte Hornets evened the series with the Miami Heat on Monday night.

Kemba Walker led Charlotte with 34 points.

Jeremy Lin was tough for the Heat to stop as well.

Lin scored 21 points.

The Heat gave up two key rebounds down the stretch as they tried to come back against the Hornets.

The series shifts back to Miami on Wednesday night.

Hassan Whiteside played with a bruised thigh for Miami. He scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.

The Heat shot just 39.5 percent from the field.
