Dolphins, Jay Ajayi run all over Steelers 30-15

Ajayi tops 200 yards in shocker

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi had the best game of his career, running for 204 yards, as he scored two rushing touchdowns to give the Fins a 30-15 win over the Steelers.

Ajayi's second TD of the game came late in the fourth quarter as he broke free for a 62 yard score that put the game away.

The Dolphins held a 16-8 halftime lead over the Steelers on the strength of three Andrew Franks field goals and a short touchdown run by Damien Williams.

The Fins not only intercepted Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the second quarter, but they also knocked him out of the game temporarily on the same play as the Steelers quarterback suffered an apparent knee injury.

Roethlisberger returned to the game in the third quarter, but threw a second interception shortly thereafter.

Pittsburgh scored the first touchdown of the game that came following a costly Dolphins penalty that kept the Steelers drive alive.

The Steelers took advantage with a 60 yard end-around touchdown run by Darrius Heyward-Bey.

A 2-point conversion gave Pittsburgh an early 8-3 lead in the first quarter.
