Dolphins list 8 players as questionable for clash with Patriots

Mario Williams, Patriots tight end Gronkowksi among questionable

The Patriots list Rob Gronkowski as questionable ahead of their game Sunday with the Dolphins.

DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins got some encouraging news on the injury front on Friday as Mario Williams returned to practice for the first time this week.

Williams, who suffered a concussion in week one, is among eight Dolphins listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game in Foxborough.

The Miami Herald reported Friday that Williams is likely to play Sunday.

The bad news is that pro bowl center Mike Pouncey will miss a second straight game with a hip injury.

Coach Adam Gase said receiver DeVante Parker, who's questionable with a hamstring injury, will be a game time decision.

The Patriots listed Rob Gronkowski as questionable with a hamstring injury, however a report from the Boston Globe stated that Gronk may be forced to miss a second consecutive game.

The other Dolphins players listed as questionable are:

Arian Foster (hamstring)

Xavien Howard (knee)

Jelani Jenkins (knee)

Spencer Paysinger (biceps)

Jordan Phillips (ankle)
