Jordan, who was selected with third overall by the Dolphins in the 2013 NFL Draft, was suspended all of last season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Since being drafted by Miami out of Oregon, Jordan has started just one game and registered three sacks.

In addition, the team announced that linebacker Zach Vigil, who started two games for the Dolphins last season, has also been placed on the reserve/non-football injury list.
