Ajayi became just the fourth running back in NFL history with back-to-back 200 yard games.

Ajayi joined O.J. Simpson, Ricky Williams, and Earl Campbell with that accomplishment.

Gase said of Ajayi, "Jay's done a good job of doing exactly what he's done since the Spring... Now he has a great understanding of how he needs to run behind the line... his production has been through the roof."

Ajayi did not fly with the Dolphins for the season-opener to Seattle.

Gase said, "We had a rough 10 days, but he stuck with the process, he centered himself and started over. Ā He knew what to do, he knew how to do it, he kept making improvements."

Gase liked the overall attitude of his team on Sunday, "Two weeks in a row, we've had the type of attitude, energy, and speed that we like on Sundays. Ā You don't see anyone waiver when we were down."

Jarvis Landry played well for the Dolphins but had two 15-yard penalties.

Gase said, "I'm not gonna change the way he plays. Ā The taunting penalty, that's not what I want but I want need him to play the way he needs to play... We need to be smarter there because we're losing yards, But I want him to keep bringing his intensity every week."

The Dolphins have a bye this week.

Next up, the Dolphins host the Jets.
