The contest is open to all men and women goaltenders older than 18-year-old.

They must submit a resume of their goalkeeping to the panthers website.

The on-ice tryout will take place on March 16 at the BB&T Center.

Goalie coach Rob Tallas will oversee the tryout.

Tallas was forced to dress in the Panthers last home game when both Roberto Luongo and Al Montoya went down with injuries.

The winner will be the backup practice goalie for a day.
