Players hold championship celebration for fans at Story nightclub

Heat order 96 boxes of pizza for SoBe fans

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The Miami Heat took their celebration of a back to back championship straight to South Beach in the early-morning hours Friday.

Most of the players, including LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, showed up at Story nightclub on Collins Avenue about 3 a.m.

"We are going to party with our fans," Wade said as he walked inside with girlfriend Gabrielle Union.

Video from worldredeye.com showed LeBron and Wade singing along with rapper Drake.

"Just show love to everyone who supported us," Udonis Haslem told Local 10's MJ Acosta.

"Back-to-back -- it doesn't get any better. I love my teammates. I love my fans and we are about to have a good time with them," said Noris Cole.

Joining them were members of the Heat organization, including Pat Riley.

Winning a championship can work up an appetite, so the players ordered 96 boxes of pizza to share with the fans.

"We walked out at four and they were still going and there were people outside waiting to get in," said Kendra Walker. "I was like, 'Do you guys ever sleep here?'"

A manager told local 10's MJ Acosta that the Heat dropped hundreds of thousands of dollars on alcohol for the crowd.
