MIAMI - The Birdman will not be flying the coop anytime soon.

Yahoo reports that Chris Andersen has agreed to a multi-year contract with the Heat.

Andersen joined Miami in the middle of the 2013 season and helped spark a championship run.

He provides energy and size to a Miami roster that needs it.

Birdman is also a fan favorite for his colorful tattoos and hair.

Heat President Pat Riley continues to round out the roster after the departure of LeBron James.
