Christensen spent the last 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

Christensen worked as the quarterbacks coach the last 4 seasons in Indy. However, he was also the Colts offensive coordinator (2010-11), assistant head coach/wide receivers (2008-09) and wide receivers coach (2002-07).

New Dolphins head coach Adam Gase, during his introductory news conference, said he would like to call his own plays, but that he would be open to taking a back seat depending on who they hired as the offensive coordinator.

It's unclear at this time if Gase would let Christensen call the plays, but having worked with Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning it appears Christensen is qualified to help Gase improve the play of Fins QB Ryan Tannehill.
