MIAMI – First it was former Yankees captain Derek Jeter joining the bidding process to buy the Miami Marlins and now another former baseball great is reportedly throwing his hat into the ring too.
Braves Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine, according to Bloomberg, is part of a group led by the son of Mitt Romney, Tagg Romney.

The Bloomberg report made it clear that Mitt Romney, the former presidential candidate, is not part of the bid.
Jeter has teamed up with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush to make their own run at buying the Marlins.
Another group that's also in the running is led by Quogue Capital founder Wayne P. Rothbaum.
Bloomberg reports the bids range between $1.2 billion to $1.3 billion.
