Report: Wade, Heat progress on talks

Miami working on muti-year deal

MIAMI – The Miami Heat and Dwyane Wade are making progress on a multi-year deal.

On the same day that the team signed Goran Dragic to a 5-year, $90 million contract, Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Heat and Wade are moving forward.

Heat President Pat Riley has expressed several times a desire to bring back the 12-year veteran, who is hoping to receive a maximum contract.

Wade, 33, opted out of his one-year, $16 million contract.

The Heat are trying to avoid paying a repeat offender luxury tax.
