Reports: Dragic to opt out

Heat hoping to bring guard back

MIAMI – According to multiple reports, Goran Dragic will opt out of his contract and become a free agent July 1.

The Heat have expressed a desire to sign the point guard to a long-term contract.

According to ESPN, the Heat intend to offer Dragic a deal of 5-years for at least $80 million.

Miami is the only team who can offer Dragic a 5-year deal.

All other teams can offer the point guard 4-years.

Pat Riley expressed confidence that Miami would be able to bring Dragic back during his end-of-the-year news conference.
