MIAMI – Former Duke and Miami Heat standout Shane Battier has been hired as a men's college basketball analyst by ESPN.
As part of a multi-year contract, the recently retired basketball player will provide insight and analysis on select games from various top conferences.

Battier won a NCAA National Championship while playing for Duke University in 2001, and was also awarded the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player. Most recently he won two NBA Championships with the Heat in 2012 and 2013.
