It was a standing room only crowd at Mickey Byrne's Irish Pub in Hollywood as soccer fans packed the place, draped in everything USA.
The pub is the official USA World Cup watch party location in Broward County.
Large crowds gathered to watch USA beat Ghana 2-1 in a dramatic World Cup opening game.
"I just got back from the World Cup in Brazil," said Mark Rowe, who owns the pub. "This is a better atmosphere to be totally honest."
Rowe said the World Cup and USA Soccer is the Pub's biggest and busiest time of year, rivaled only by St. Patrick's Day.
Rowe told Local 10 the NBA Finals, Super Bowl and World Series crowds don't even come close when it comes to sizes.
Some dressed in their "most American" outfits admitted they didn't know much about soccer but came out for the atmosphere.
The pub, however, was filled with die-hard Soccer fans, including local clubs and teams that have made a home at the Hollywood Blvd pub.
