Star-studded group tapped as ambassadors for El Clasico Miami match

Flo Rida, Bosh, Marino among celebrity board of ambassadors

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A group of South Florida celebrities has been tapped as ambassadors for an upcoming Spanish soccer match between two rivals at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami rapper Flo Rida, Miami Heat star Chris Bosh, tennis player Serena Williams and former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino are among the celebrities who will promote the July 29 match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross will serve as chair of the board of ambassadors for El Clasico Miami.

Several events are planned throughout Miami-Dade County for the week of the match, including concerts, beach parties and pep rallies.

The match is the first-ever North American meeting between the rival clubs. It will be televised live on ESPN.
