MIAMI -

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill's star is rising.  He now has the league's 6th best-selling jersey.

ESPN business reporter Darren Rovell tweeted the list of top-selling jerseys from April 1- Sept. 30.

The top-selling jersey was 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Peyton Manning had the second most popular jersey.

Manning was followed by Seattle's Russell Wilson, Minnesota's Adrian Peterson, and Washington's Robert Griffin III.

Tannehill's jersey sales could be attributed to his improved play on the field.

Another factor could be the offseason makeover that the Dolphins jerseys underwent before the start of the season.

Either way, #17 is flying off shelves at a faster rate.
