CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The Miami Hurricanes will be hosting the 24th NCAA Tournament Regional in program history beginning this Friday, and will be joined by second-seeded UCF, third-seeded Missouri State and fourth-seeded Stony Brook.
Miami found out its postseason fate a day early, as the team was selected as one of 16 regional hosts for the first round of the postseason. The Hurricanes, who finished the season with a 36-21 record and an appearance in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, were one of five teams from the conference selected to host.
The Hurricanes will open play in the double-elimination bracket Friday night against Stony Brook.
