MIAMI -

Heat star Dwyane Wade continues to nurse his knee injury.

Wade did not participate in the contact portions of the team's practice on Wednesday.

Head Coach Erik Spoelstra said that Wade is making progress.

Wade and the Heat will have plenty of time to rest.

The NBA announced that Miami will not start the next round of the playoffs until Monday.

The Heat's last game was on Sunday.

That means, Miami will have more than a week off between the Milwaukee series and the start of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.

Miami will face the winner of Chicago and Brooklyn.

Right now, the Bulls lead the Nets 3-2 in the best of 7 series.

Coach Spoelstra is giving the Heat Thursday off.
