MIAMI -

Dwyane Wade is giving us an inside look at what he went through to win his 3rd NBA championship.

Wade released a clip of a video called "Journey To 3."

Wade said, "You're sitting there, down four, 28 seconds left, one of their best players going to the free throw line and you them bringing out the yellow cord."

Wade gave a rare recap of the final moments of Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals, the game that nearly ended hi season and his shot at a third title.

All of the video was shot during the Heat's drama-filled playoff run.  For Wade, it was especially trying because of various injuries and bone bruises.

After getting hurt against the Bulls, Wade did not look like his dynamic self.  The noise and doubters grew.

Yet every time he was knocked down, Wade got right up, as he's done his entire career.

With the season on the line in Game 7 of the Finals, Wade didn't take any chances.

The veteran guard had his knee drained before tipoff and was able to score 23 points.

In the end, he held the Larry O'Brien trophy for the third time.

The full video will be released Oct. 21.
