Wade to live in Webster's house in Chicago

Former Heat star to rent home in TV sitcome

CHICAGO – Maybe if the Miami Heat allowed Dwyane Wade to live in the "Golden Girls" house, the perennial superstar would have stayed in South Florida.

That's because Wade's new Chicago digs will look awfully familiar to fans of 1980's television sitcoms.

Chicago Business is reporting that the former Heat icon is renting the Windy City house that was once featured on the sitcom "Webster" starring Emmanuel Lewis.

The 11,000 square-foot mansion has seven bedrooms and had been on the market for just under $9.5 million since April.

Although the house was built in the 19th century, it gained fame during the "Webster" run between 1983-87.

Lewis played the lovable boy "Webster" who was adopted by former NFL star Alex Karras and his wife. The family moved to Wade's new home after Webster accidentally burned down the apartment where they lived during season one.
