Doors open at 11 a.m. ahead of Tuesday's game

MIAMI – A massive watch party is set to kick off Tuesday in Wynwood ahead of the Team USA World Cup game against Belgium.

A 35,000 square foot stadium is set up along NW 2nd Avenue and 23rd Street and is filled with lounge seating, bars, and a 240-inch LED screen. The pop-up tent, known as Wynwood Stadium, will be open through the World Cup finals later this month.

Watch the Cup is an official FIFA World Cup watch party. The first 500 guests to register online for each match will be given free beer. Food trucks and other vendors will also be on site for refreshment purchases.

On Tuesday, doors open at 11 a.m., an hour before the game between Argentina and Switzerland. Fans can stick around to watch Team USA's game at 4 p.m.

"We think we're going to have thousands of U.S. fans here, probably over 1,000 people," Watch the Cup executive director Tony Albelo told Local 10 News. He started the preparations for the event after learning Team USA would be making it to the second round of the World Cup.
