Miami falls, 28-17

ATLANTA – The Miami Hurricanes fell on the road Saturday night in Atlanta to Georgia Tech 28-17.

The 'Canes defense looked confounded by Georgia Tech's tricky triple option offense.

The Yellow Jackets controlled the ball most of the night and rushed for 311 yards.

Georgia Tech possessed the ball for 40:37.

Miami had the ball just 19:15.

Without many possessions, 'Canes quarterback Brad Kaaya pressed for much of the game.

Kaaya, who hasn't won a road game yet in his UM career, threw two interceptions.

Kaaya started the game with a beautiful 21-yard touchdown pass to Braxton Berrios.

Duke Johnson also found the end zone on a rushing touchdown.

However, the 'Canes offense couldn't seem to get on the field.

Miami's record falls to 3-3.

With the costly loss in the Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal Division, criticism is heating up for head coach Al Golden and his defensive coaching staff.

Miami hosts Cincinnati next Saturday.
