Anjanette Flowers joined Local 10 News in December 2004. Having visited South Florida on numerous occasions, the North Carolina native says she knew she would fit right in.

Anjanette graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. Even though she's now in Hurricane country, she's still a Tarheel. After majoring in journalism with an outside concentration in drama, she landed her first reporter job in Florence, S. C. at WPDE, the ABC affiliate.

Anjanette then moved on to Charlotte, North Carolina where she reported at News 14 Carolina. Although Anjanette is far from the Carolinas, she considers Miami her new home and her co-workers like family.

When not working, Anjanette enjoys reading, listening to music and hanging out at the beach with friends.
