Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance kicks off

Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance opens this weekend at Boca Raton Resort and Club

BOCA RATON, Fla. ā€“ The seventh annual Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance opens this weekend at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.

The show features classic and exotic cars and motorcycles. Rick Case, of the Rick Case Automotive Group, is the founder and producer of the event, which runs February 22 through 24.

"We will have about 200 classic, antique, beautiful cars from all over the country," said Case.

As the nation's fastest growing Concours, the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance spans over three days with an exciting lineup of activities.Ā Ā 

  • On Friday, February 22, there will be an Automobile Art Show, a free seminar on the Collector Car Market, and the DuPont Registry Live Hangar Party at the Boca Raton Airport.Ā Ā Ā 
  • On Saturday, February 23, the food and fun continues with the Bonhams Automobile and Automobilia Auction, followed by a black-tie optional Gala Dinner Auction and Show.
  • On Sunday, February 24, the weekend of festivities concludes with the Automobile and Motorcycle Exhibition, featuring more than 200 of the finest collector cars and motorcycles from around the country.

All events are open to the public and tickets are sold separately.Ā All of the proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County.Ā 

One year, the event generated $3 million for the non-profit.Ā 

"An event like this really helps us in terms of our budget and to keep the kids safe afterschool, and more importantly, over the summer," said Brian Quail, chief executive officer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County.

"We got involved with the Boys and Girls Clubs in the 80s, and today we have the same passion to help support so they can produce our future leaders, because these kids are all of our futures," said Rita Case.Ā
