The Miami-Dade County Commission voted to allow construction at Gratigny Plateau Park to move forward.

Local 10's Making A Difference project is to transform an abandoned lot at Northwest 8th Avenue and 117th Street into a park for the community

"There is not much out there right now but we need many more partners like Channel 10," said commissioner Jean Monestime.
